What We Store
If an account is banned for issues such as harassment, fraud, or verified safety threats, we may store a non-reversible cryptographic hash of certain identifiers (such as an email address or phone number). This data:
Cannot be used to identify or contact a person
Cannot be reverse-engineered to reveal the original information
Is stored separately from personal data
Is not used for marketing, profiling, or analytics
Why We Store It
This limited data is used only to prevent users who were removed for community safety reasons from signing up again under a different account.
Legal Basis
We rely on our legitimate interest (under GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) in protecting users from repeat abuse, fraud, or platform manipulation.
If You Submit a Deletion Request
When you request deletion of your data, we will delete all personal information we hold about you. However, if your account was banned for a violation of our Terms of Service, we may retain a hash as described above solely for enforcing platform safety.

SetCollab is based in the United States. If you access the Platform from outside the U.S., you consent to data processing in the U.S., which may have different data protection standards.
